How to set up a safe space for your dog at home

Make a corner of their own: bed, water, and a clear rest boundary.

    Pick the spot. Away from noisy hallways. They should be able to see part of the home without being in the middle of it.

    Add a bed and water. A clean bed and a stable bowl. No punishment in that corner.

    Respect their rest. If they’re there, don’t force them to socialize. That space is their pause.
